Dr. Katie Salomon
Katie Salomon, O.D. is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida, earning a B.A. in Business Administration. In 2014, she graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. At NSU, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honors society. Dr. Salomon has 10 years of experience working in private practice. She is dedicated to providing a high degree of personalized care to patients in both their vision needs and ocular health. She has extensive clinical experience in fitting Multifocal and Occupational contact lenses. Dr. Salomon is recently married to her husband, Clay. They enjoy spending time on the lake with their Great Bernese, Chief. Dr. Salomon is on the board of directors for the Humane Society of Polk County, and looks forward to continuing to serve her community.
Dr. Carly Salomon
Salomon Eye Care is pleased to introduce Carly Salomon, O.D, F.A.AO. Dr. Salomon graduated with honors from the University of Florida, received her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, and completed her residency training at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville. As chief resident, she gained extensive clinical experience in ocular disease, specialty contact lens fitting, and low vision rehabilitation. She was awarded Certificates of Excellence in scleral lens fitting and low vision. In 2020, she became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is the vice president of the Lake Region Optometric Association. She is also on the board of the Lake Region Optometric Association, our local optometric professional group. Dr. Salomon is excited to be back in Winter Haven to begin her career in private practice alongside her sister.
Dr. Kim Salomon
Kim Salomon, O.D. graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.S. in Biology, and received her O.D. from the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating with distinction. In 1984, she moved to Winter Haven, where she and her husband helped build their group practice, Phillips, Salomon, and Parrish (also known as Eye Express). Together they raised two daughters and a son while also serving to meet the eye care needs of families in their community. Dr. Salomon is happy to be able to help her daughters as they grow their practice.
Dr. Brad Salomon
Brad Salomon, O.D. has been taking care of patients in his hometown of Winter Haven for 37 years. Dr. Salomon graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida in 1980, and earned his doctorate degree at the Southern California College of Optometry. Upon graduation in 1984, he moved back to Winter Haven to raise a family and begin providing quality eye care at his group practice Phillips, Salomon, and Parrish. He is excited and proud to be able to work alongside his daughters as they strive to make Salomon Eye Care a community favorite.

Robert Wood, Lab Manager, Licensed Dispensing Optician
Shortly after moving to Winter Haven in 1953, Robert began his career in the optical industry. He quickly learned the art of making and adjusting glasses and became a Licensed Dispensing Optician (L.D.O.). He started Robert Wood Optical in 1992. Later in 2014, Drs. Phillips, Salomon and Parrish recruited him to manage Eye Express. Robert has provided excellent service in the Winter Haven area for almost forty nine years. His professionalism, extensive knowledge, and unique skills both with glasses and people make Robert Wood an invaluable member of the Salomon Eye Care team.
